Do you have experience supporting children with complex additional needs?
An excellent secondary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a student requiring full-time personal and educational assistance.
Duties Include
- Supporting entry and exit from school each day
- Full personal care and toileting support
- Feeding assistance during breaks and lunchtime
- Following strict allergy management procedures
- Supporting engagement within lessons
- Liaising with teaching staff and SEN professionals
- Promoting independence and confidence
Working hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with SEND
- A caring and proactive nature
- Confidence supporting intimate care
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build trusting relationships
- Commitment to a full academic year
