We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Cardiff, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced candidates to support classroom activities and promote an inclusive learning environment. This role is suitable for individuals with proven experience in supporting children, including those with additional learning needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges, within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive classroom support to teachers and pupils, fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) and behaviours that may present challenges.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.
• Aid in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other colleagues to meet the diverse needs of pupils.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working in an educational environment supporting children.
• Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and ALN.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to supporting student development.
• Available for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
