Are you passionate about working with children and helping them succeed within education? Teaching Personnel are looking for experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support in our SEN schools within the Salford Area. In this role you will be empowering young people with additional needs such as Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, Autism, Global Development Delay and speech, language and communication difficulties.
This is the ideal role for someone who is committed to having a positive impact on young people’s lives.
Relevant Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Deliver 1:1 and group sessions to facilitate young people’s academic and emotional learning
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment where every child feels heard and empowered
- Assist with behaviour management
- Create and adapt learning materials to support each child’s needs
- Support with Personal Care when required
Relevant requirements
The ideal candidate will have
- Prior experience working with children and young people with SEN needs.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Team Teach is desirable but not essential
- Prior experience and willingness to participate in personal care when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
