SEN Tutor

Academics is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition for a student with additional needs in Canterbury.

This rewarding SEN Tutor position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by delivering personalised learning sessions tailored to a student's individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home or an agreed setting
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Build positive and supportive relationships
• Create a safe, encouraging, and nurturing learning environment
• Support a student with SEN through personalised learning strategies

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• A teaching, tutoring, TA, HLTA, or SEN support background
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging 1:1 tuition
