About the Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will provide personalised 1:1 support to a primary-aged student, adapting learning to their individual needs, interests and abilities.
You will play an important role in helping the student to:
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Re-engage with education
- Develop their academic skills
- Enjoy learning in a calm and supportive environment
- Make meaningful progress at their own pace
- Develop positive relationships and routines around education
The Ideal SEN Tutor
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with primary-aged children
- Confident supporting children with SEN
- Patient, nurturing and encouraging
- Able to adapt and personalise learning
- Experienced in delivering 1:1 support or tuition
- Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
- Reliable and committed to making a genuine difference
