Sen Tutor

Academics are looking for a passionate and nurturing SEN Tutor to support a primary-aged student on a 1:1 basis in the Sittingbourne area.

Are you a Teacher, SEN Tutor, HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant who loves helping children build confidence, overcome barriers and enjoy learning again?

This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a SEN Tutor, you will provide personalised 1:1 support to a primary-aged student, adapting learning to their individual needs, interests and abilities.

You will play an important role in helping the student to:

• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Re-engage with education
• Develop their academic skills
• Enjoy learning in a calm and supportive environment
• Make meaningful progress at their own pace
• Develop positive relationships and routines around education

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working with primary-aged children
• Confident supporting children with SEN
• Patient, nurturing and encouraging
• Able to adapt and personalise learning
• Experienced in delivering 1:1 support or tuition
• Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
• Reliable and committed to making a genuine difference
