Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs?
Remedy Tutors is looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support for a Key Stage 3 learner in the LE2 area of Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tutor to make a lasting impact through personalised tuition while benefiting from competitive rates of pay and consistent weekly hours.
Please note: We are ideally seeking a male tutor for this placement due to the individual needs of the learner.
About the Role
You'll be delivering tailored 1:1 tuition to a KS3 learner, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and achieve positive educational outcomes.
This is a long-term opportunity offering 10 hours per week, working on:
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- Friday
The placement is due to begin on 2nd September 2026 and will continue on an ongoing basis.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one tuition
- Plan sessions tailored to the learner's individual needs
- Build a positive, supportive relationship with the learner
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
- Adapt teaching strategies to maximise engagement and achievement
- Promote confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning

- Alternative Provision Tutors
- Outreach Tutors
- SEND Education Professionals
Essential Requirements
✔ Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to deliver engaging, learner-centred tuition
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for young people
