Your skills can change a learner's future. Are you ready to make a difference?
At Remedy Tutors, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential. For some learners, the traditional classroom environment isn't the right fit. They need a more personalised approach, someone who understands their needs and a tutor who can help them discover what they're truly capable of.
That's where you come in!
We're looking for passionate, patient and dedicated SEN Tutors, SEND Teachers and Specialist Education Professionals to deliver tailored one-to-one tuition to children and young people who need additional support.
Whether you're an experienced teacher, a specialist tutor or an education professional with a background in learning support, we'd love to hear from you!
What Can You Expect from the Role?
No two learners are the same, and neither are the opportunities available through Remedy Tutors.
As a specialist tutor, you'll have the chance to:
Deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner's individual needs.
Help pupils build confidence, develop new skills and re-engage with education.
Support learners in working towards their personal, academic and educational goals.
Make a genuine difference to children and young people who benefit from additional support.
Access flexible assignments that can fit around your availability.
Sessions may take place in pupils' homes, schools or community settings, depending on the requirements of each placement.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're keen to connect with enthusiastic education professionals who have the skills, patience and understanding to support learners with additional needs.
You could be a:
SEN/SEND Tutor – experienced in supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
Qualified Teacher or Subject Tutor – confident in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant – with relevant experience supporting pupils' learning and development.
SEMH or Alternative Provision Tutor – experienced in supporting learners with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Dyslexia or SpLD Specialist Tutor – able to adapt teaching approaches to individual learning differences.
Specialist Education Professional – experienced in delivering one-to-one interventions and personalised learning support.
If you're passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you.
