SENCO – Specialist SEN School | Cambridge

£45,000 – £55,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent / Long-Term

Charlie’s Angels Education is looking to speak with an experienced and passionate SENCO for an opportunity within a specialist SEN school in the Cambridge area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENCO or SEND professional looking to take the next step within a supportive specialist setting.

The Role

As SENCO, you will take a lead role in coordinating SEND provision across the school, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the right support to thrive.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, speech and language needs, learning difficulties and complex needs.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • SENCO experience or significant SEND leadership experience
  • NASENCO/NPQ for SENCO, or willingness to work towards the qualification
  • Strong knowledge of EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
