£63,709 - £69,278 | Leadership Scale 1–5 (Inner London)

Are you an experienced and committed SENDCO looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

A secondary school in Haringey is looking to appoint a dedicated SENDCO to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2027.

The start date is negotiable for the right candidate, with the opportunity to start on a temporary basis from October 2026 for candidates who are available immediately.

The Role:

• Full-time, permanent SENDCO position

• January 2027 start, with an earlier start negotiable

• Temporary opportunity available from October for immediate candidates

• Leading and coordinating SEND provision across the school

• Working closely with teachers, senior leaders, parents/carers and external agencies

• Supporting the progress, inclusion and wellbeing of pupils with SEND

• Contributing to the strategic development of the school's SEND provision

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Relevant SENDCO/NASENCO experience or qualification

• Experience working within a secondary school setting

• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and provision

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
