Job Title: ICT and Employability Teacher

Salary: £160 - £220 per day

The school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are supported to overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual potential.

The school is looking to appoint an ICT and Employability Teacher on a long-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Working four days per week (9:30am to 4:00pm), the successful ICT and Employability Teacher will provide dedicated 1:1 support, delivering engaging ICT and employability lessons to pupils with a range of SEND needs who are working below age-related expectations, helping them develop practical skills, digital confidence and independence for future education, training and employment.

The successful ICT and Employability Teacher will have:

• QTS or QTLS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching ICT and employability or vocational learning within a secondary or SEND setting
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills with the ability to build positive relationships on a 1:1 basis
• A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach to teaching
• A commitment to raising achievement and preparing learners for future opportunities
