SEND Keyworker (Contract) – Cheshire East

We Do Social Work is looking for an experienced SEND Keyworker to join Cheshire East Council on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong SEND experience to manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), coordinate statutory assessments, and work collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
• Coordinate statutory SEND assessments and annual reviews.
• Develop, review and amend Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies.
• Support placement planning and represent the Local Authority where required.

We're looking for candidates with:

• Experience working within SEND services and the EHCP process.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
• Experience working with children, young people and families in a multi-agency environment.
