TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a SEND Learning Support Assistant. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally, with a strong focus on personalised learning and positive outcomes.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Learning Support Assistant on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will support pupils from Primary to Secondary age, working closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning support, promote independence and encourage positive behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils

• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach

• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential
