SEND OUTREACH WORKER
Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Outreach Worker committed to supporting children and young people with additional needs?
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Outreach Worker to work with a fantastic provision located in the Bournemouth area.
Experienced Outreach Workers, Learning Mentors, and candidates with a background in SEND support are encouraged to apply.
THE ROLE
- Location: Bournemouth
- Position: SEND Outreach Worker
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing
- Contract type: Long term
- Full time/part time: Full time
- Minimum rate of pay: £140 per day
- Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, NVQ, Cache or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Experience working with SEND students
- A genuine interest in supporting children with complex learning needs
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional, child-related references
