Fox Morris Group are delighted to be supporting Suffolk County Council in the recruitment of 2 experienced SEND Project Managers to support the delivery of a high-profile SEND transformation programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in implementing Suffolk's Experts at Hand (EAH) pilot across 36 primary and secondary schools, working collaboratively with Local Authority, Health and Education partners to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
About the Role
Reporting to the SEND Reform Senior Transformation Manager, you will lead the day-to-day mobilisation and implementation of the EAH pilot, ensuring delivery milestones are achieved and schools receive the support needed for a successful rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and mobilisation of the Experts at Hand (EAH) pilot across 36 schools.
- Coordinate school onboarding, briefing sessions and implementation support.
- Work collaboratively with SEND Services, Educational Psychology, Health partners and education settings.
- Monitor delivery against programme plans, identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate activity across Local Authority, Health and Education partners to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Manage communications and stakeholder engagement with schools and partner organisations.
- Support the implementation of the Team Around the Setting (TAS) model.
- Coordinate meetings, actions and follow-up activity.
- Gather evidence to support programme evaluation, future decision-making and wider county rollout.
- Ensure a smooth handover to the permanent Local Authority postholder.
We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering complex SEND transformation or education projects.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Local Authorities, schools and multi-agency partners.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, risks and programme milestones.
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of SEND services, education improvement or children's services is highly desirable.
