Aspire People are recruiting a dedicated **SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant** to work within a supportive primary school environment.
The role would suit someone who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and understands the importance of consistency, patience, and strong relationships when helping children overcome barriers to learning.
**The Role:**
* Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support
* Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
* Helping children with emotional and sensory regulation
* Implementing agreed behaviour and support strategies
* Delivering targeted interventions
* Supporting pupils during lessons and unstructured times
* Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
* Encouraging independence and confidence
**We're Looking For:**
* Recent experience working within a UK school
* Previous SEND and/or SEMH experience
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Excellent relationship-building abilities
* Genuine passion for inclusive education
