We are currently seeking to represent two experienced SEND specialists to provide interim support for a specialist site in Kidderminster, West Midlands (DY14). If you are a SEND specialist who is available from September 2026, we would be keen to speak with you.

These roles are offered initially as interim, full-time posts based at a small, alternative provision school. Your key role will be to support the current leadership team to create stability and assist with the development of practices. Ideally you will be experienced with working alongside pupils on a one-to-one basis and be able to enhance their learning with an ongoing curriculum plan. Typically, the site caters for pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as severe learning difficulties and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties and class sizes are small. An informal meeting will be offered as a starting point for you to gain a full understanding of the school and their needs.

This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. If you are of a similar mindset and ethos, we would be very happy to discuss the role in more detail.

We hold REC Corporate Membership, and we are fully committed to safeguarding all children within our schools. We are fully committed to a stringent compliance process and in addition to our checks all shortlisted candidates will be subject to online searches.
