SEND Teacher

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
• Support children with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and complex needs
• Assist with academic, emotional and behavioural development
• Deliver interventions and support classroom-based activities
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND
• Experience supporting autism and/or complex needs is desirable
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding
• Relevant TA, LSA or education experience is desirable
