This role suits a patient, adaptable teacher who recognises individual progress and makes learning relevant to life beyond school.
The school combines a flexible, personalised curriculum with therapeutic support. Staff work closely with families and professionals to meet students’ communication, sensory and learning needs, supporting academic, social and emotional development.

Plan accessible lessons tailored to students’ starting points and EHCP outcomes.
-
Support progress towards qualifications and maintain clear assessment evidence.
-
Develop communication, functional skills and independence through meaningful activities.
-
Adapt teaching to individual sensory, communication and regulation needs.
-
Work with support staff, therapists and families to review progress and next steps.
To be eligible for this role and the stated pay, applicants must have:

-
Sixth-form teaching experience and experience supporting SEND learners.
-
Experience guiding students through qualifications and recording achievement.

Knowledge of AQA Unit Awards, ASDAN or entry-level pathways is desirable. Higher pay rates reflect substantial relevant experience and/or training. Pay follows school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
We support teachers and school support staff through attentive service and professional development, offering:

A dedicated consultant providing ongoing support and guidance.
-
A £150 refer-a-friend reward once your referred candidate has worked and been paid for their first 10 days.
