Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is highly desirable
  • Experience working within an SEN school, mainstream school, Alternative Provision, or similar setting would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, or other additional needs
  • Patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a nurturing approach
  • Confident supporting pupils with varying communication and learning needs
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Able to adapt to individual pupil needs and remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to a long-term role
  • Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential
