Teaching Personnel are currently looking for qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work at Secondary Schools located in South Birmingham.
As a qualified Teaching Assistant you will be required to support students in a mainstream secondary setting with different variations of Special Educational Needs.
Mandatory for all successful candidates:
- A Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
- English and Maths GCSE
- Enhanced Child DBS which is on the update service (or willing to purchase one)
- Specific right to work documents
- 24 months worth of educational references
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Available Monday - Friday term time only (8:15am - 16:00pm)
Interviews and trial days will be happening prior to schools breaking up for the summer holidays on July 17th 2026 - so the ideal candidate will be available for interviews within the next week. However, if you are not available for this it WILL NOT affect your application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
