Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only

Unique School Solutions are supporting a large secondary school in the S35 area of Sheffield, who are needing an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in the schools SEND unit. Working alongside the resource teacher and other teaching assistants, you will be supporting students across Key Stages 3 & 4, providing educational and pastoral support. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience of working with young adults aged 11-16
  • Previous SEND experience
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • The ability to build rapport with young people whilst remaining professional and maintaining behaviour rules
  • Resilient nature
