Senior Accounts Assistant

Pinpoint Resourcing are working with an exciting retail business based near Camden. They are looking to hire a Senior Accounts Assistant to act as a bridge between the transactional team and the Line Manager. 

Duties:

• Process and reconcile concession debtor accounts.
• Manage credit control and overdue accounts.
• Review aged debtors and issue monthly wholesale customer statements.
• Prepare debtor forecasts and customer payment plans.
• Update daily cash summaries and assist with monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain trade supplier payment forecasts.
• Supervise and assist with purchase ledger operations.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring appropriate authorisation.
• Prepare and review weekly supplier payment runs and issue remittance advices.
• Process weekly and monthly journals, including accruals.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process monthly depreciation journals.
• Perform monthly bank and other account reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Double entry bookkeeping experience
• Good understanding of accruals/prepayments/journals
• Good credit control / accounts receivable experience

Salary + additional information:

• £35,000 - £40,000
• Based in the office 5 days a week
