Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality acoustic assessments and advice. Duties include:
- Assisting with environmental noise and vibration assessments for planning and compliance
- Supporting building acoustics and sound insulation analysis
- Fee proposals
- Undertaking site visits to complete environmental monitoring, data analysis, and reporting duties
- Using software (e.g., ODEON, CadnaA) to undertake acoustic modelling
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ready to begin a career in acoustics within a dynamic consultancy setting. You should have:
- Previous experience working for a UK consultancy with a background in Building or Environmental Acoustics
- A degree (or MSc) in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- A genuine interest in acoustics, noise, and vibration
- A full UK driving licence
