Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Children's Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team at Cheshire East Council on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Children's Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute meeting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, ensuring information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR.
  • Update and maintain internal databases and case management systems.
  • Process referrals, reports and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries, providing a professional and efficient service to colleagues, partner agencies and members of the public.
  • Coordinate diaries, arrange appointments and manage team inboxes where required.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, performance data and audit information.
  • Liaise with social workers, managers and external agencies to support the effective delivery of safeguarding services.
  • Undertake general administrative duties including filing, scanning, document management and data entry.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or business support role, ideally within Children's Services, Social Care or the public sector.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise competing tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
