Senior Administrator/Business Support Officer

Our client in Southwark, London, is seeking a Senior Administrator/Business Support Officer to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a varied role combining Business Support, Facilities and Front of House responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy office and supporting colleagues across the business.
📍 The Details
- Pay Rate: £15ph to £20ph (Perm salary £35,000 - £40,000)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
- Hybrid: 1 day from home per week
- Location: Southwark, London
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Formatting proposals and business documents to company branding standards (essential)
- Project administration, travel booking and timesheet chasing
- Managing POs and credit card expenses
- Supporting bids and proposal submissions
- Organising team, client and leaver events
- Front of House and client services support
- Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring office areas are maintained
- Managing office supplies, refreshments and supplier orders
- Escalating facilities and building management issues
- Supporting Sustainability, Wellbeing and Health & Safety initiatives
🚀 About You
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Experienced in document formatting, including numbering, images, layouts and branded proposals
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritise between business support and facilities duties
- Proactive, observant, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience within office support, facilities, reception or business support roles
- Understanding of Health & Safety and when to escalate issues
