We are looking for an experienced Senior Antenna Engineer to lead the design, development and testing of advanced antenna systems used in radar technology. You will work on microwave antenna design, modelling and performance testing, supporting new product development and improvements to existing systems. You will also work closely with RF, Hardware and Systems Engineering teams to solve technical challenges and support manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead antenna research, design, development and testing.
Design and model printed and waveguide antennas operating at microwave frequencies.
Support RF design, antenna testing and radar system development.
Provide technical support to engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.
Investigate production issues and improve product performance.
Manage technical work packages, documentation and project requirements.
Key Skills
Strong experience in antenna design and development at microwave frequencies.
Knowledge of printed and waveguide antennas, including array antennas.
Experience with RF components and antenna modelling software.
Familiarity with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analysers and Vector Network Analysers.
Understanding of design for manufacture and production testing.
Experience in radar or similar RF applications is desirable.
Knowledge of MATLAB, Python or Altair software is an advantage.
