An established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join their growing architectural team. This Senior Architect will take responsibility for delivering a varied portfolio of technically challenging projects across the public and private sectors. As Senior Architect, the successful candidate will lead projects from initial design through to completion, coordinating consultants and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful Senior Architect will also support junior team members and contribute to the continued development of the architectural service. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect seeking greater project responsibility within a collaborative consultancy. The Senior Architect will receive a salary of £48,000 to £55,000, alongside a competitive benefits package.

The Senior Architect Role

The Senior Architect will manage projects across all RIBA work stages, producing and reviewing design information while ensuring work meets client, statutory and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities will include preparing planning and technical drawing packages, coordinating external consultants, attending client and project meetings, managing programmes and overseeing work delivered by Architects and Architectural Technologists.

The Senior Architect will also assist with fee proposals, resource planning and the development of long-term client relationships.



The Senior Architect

The successful Senior Architect will have:

  • ARB registration and a recognised Part 3 architectural qualification
  • Ideally, chartered membership of the RIBA
  • Previous experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural software
  • Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills
  • The ability to manage several projects and competing deadlines
