As a Senior Architect at their London studio, you will engage in diverse and creative cultural projects across all RIBA stages, working collaboratively with a broad consultant team. We are looking for individuals with excellent technical and project-running skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for high-quality, historically sensitive work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate on major cultural projects across all RIBA stages, particularly Stages 2–6.
- Successfully lead and manage a small team.
- Take day-to-day ownership of project delivery, balancing design quality, client satisfaction and commercial performance.
- Champion technical excellence across your team, running reviews and supporting others as they develop their skills.
- Help build a culture of shared learning, contributing ideas and expertise across the wider studio.
Senior Architect Requirements:
- ARB and RIBA/RICS registration essential
- AABC, IHBC or RIBA CA/SCA desirable.
- 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience working across all RIBA Stages, especially Stages 2–6.
- Conservation experience desirable, with a strong enthusiasm for historic buildings and experience working on existing buildings.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and NBS software.
- Strong technical design and detailing skills, with the ability to take a strategic overview of complex design problems.
- Confident communicator, able to present at all levels, internally and externally.
- A strong understanding of UK Building and Planning Regulations.
- Personable, well organised and proactive, with a genuine team spirit.
