We're looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join our growing team based at Wellingore Hall. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, taking designs from concept through to completion while mentoring junior colleagues and helping deliver exceptional technical solutions.

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Architectural Technician, you'll support the design and delivery of projects from planning through to construction, including:
- Producing detailed drawings for building regulations applications and tender packages
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
- Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
- Co-ordinating the work of contractors
- Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines
- Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed time frame and according to specification
- Solving problems that might occur during building
- Carrying out defect inspections
- Supporting and coordinating the work of junior members of the team
- Reviewing and checking for errors in others’ work
- Undertaking any other tasks within your capabilities as requested by your line manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an architectural technician role, ideally at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Ability to manage projects from design through to delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in architectural technology or a related discipline.
