A well-established, design-led architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Bristol team. The practice works across a broad range of sectors including education, residential, healthcare, commercial, and public sector projects, delivering high-quality schemes from concept through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to take a key role in project delivery within a collaborative and supportive environment. The role offers hybrid working (2 days per week from home) following successful completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:
• Lead the production and coordination of technical drawings and construction information across all RIBA stages
• Take responsibility for delivering projects from concept through to completion on site
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure fully integrated design solutions
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and technical standards
• Attend site visits, design meetings, and support contract administration where required
• Support and mentor junior team members as part of project delivery
Requirements for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice at senior level
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing
• Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and Revit beneficial but not essential
• Strong technical ability with good understanding of BIM and coordination processes
• Confident communicator with experience working with clients and consultants
• Ability to manage workload and deliver projects to deadlines
