About the Role
An experienced Senior Architectural Technologist is required to join a dynamic architectural team based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will have strong experience delivering residential projects through the construction stage, with excellent technical detailing, problem-solving, and Revit capabilities. Direct Irish or UK experience is currently a key requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver residential projects through detailed design and construction stages.
• Produce high-quality technical drawings, construction details, and documentation using Revit.
• Develop and coordinate detailed construction information for residential developments.
• Work closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs and construction documentation comply with relevant Irish Building Regulations and standards.
• Apply knowledge of BCAR requirements throughout project delivery.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and construction-stage coordination meetings where required.
• Coordinate architectural information with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Contribute to design reviews, technical coordination, and quality assurance.
• Support the successful delivery of projects from design development through construction completion.

Requirements

Essential:

• Qualified Architectural Technologist or Architect with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Direct Irish or UK architectural/construction experience.
• Strong construction-stage delivery experience on Irish or UK residential projects.
• Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Good working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR.
• Strong technical problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality project delivery.
• Full working rights in Ireland.

Preferred:

• Experience with timber frame residential construction.
• Experience with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) construction.
• Experience with precast construction.
• Experience with masonry housing.
• Previous experience working on large-scale or complex residential developments.
• UK Building Regulations experience with willingness to adapt to Irish requirements.
