Location: Salisbury
Salary: £38-45,000
An established and respected architectural practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team near Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong professional to take a leading role across a varied portfolio of projects, with a strong pipeline of work for a major client, predominantly within the residential sector, as well as community and commercial developments.
Working alongside a knowledgeable and collaborative team, you'll be involved throughout the technical design and delivery stages, taking responsibility for projects through RIBA Stage 4 and beyond. The role offers excellent scope to further develop your technical expertise while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
The Role:
- Lead and develop detailed technical drawings and construction information using Revit.
- Take responsibility for projects through technical design and construction delivery.
- Coordinate architectural information with consultants, contractors and the wider project team.
- Prepare and contribute to planning and Building Regulations submissions.
- Produce comprehensive drawing packages, schedules and specifications.
- Attend and contribute to design, coordination and site meetings.
- Monitor technical information to help ensure projects are delivered on programme and to a high standard.
- Provide technical input and support to less experienced members of the team where required.
- Apply and develop knowledge of construction methods, technical detailing and current UK Building Regulations.
- Assist with resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND in Architectural Technology, or a relevant architectural qualification.
- Proven experience working within an architectural practice or architectural technology environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and experience producing detailed technical information.
- Solid understanding of technical design, construction detailing and project delivery.
- Previous experience working on residential projects is highly desirable.
- Experience within the commercial or community sectors would be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant construction standards.
- Strong coordination, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload, work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of technical responsibilities.
