The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to take ownership of a major High-Risk Residential Building (HRRB) scheme while contributing to a varied portfolio of commissions across multiple sectors.

You'll play a key role in cost management, commercial strategy, risk management, procurement, and client engagement, helping ensure successful project delivery from inception through to completion.

This is the ideal opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a broader leadership role, or an established Associate seeking a new challenge within a dynamic consultancy environment.
What You'll Be Doing

As our Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Lead Cost Management and Quantity Surveying services on a major High-Risk Residential development
• Deliver expert pre-contract and post-contract services across multiple projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted commercial advisor
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, procurement strategies, tendering processes, and contract administration
• Identify and mitigate project risks while advising clients on key commercial decisions
• Oversee project costs, forecasts, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and contractors
• Support, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the London office

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a commercially minded professional with strong consultancy experience and a proven ability to deliver complex projects while building lasting client relationships.

Essential Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (BSc or equivalent)
• Minimum 7 years' experience within a consultancy Quantity Surveying role
• Strong experience delivering both pre-contract and post-contract services
• Proven residential sector experience, with HRRB experience highly desirable
• Extensive knowledge of contracts and contract administration
• Experience working across a variety of procurement routes
• Expertise in cost planning, budgeting, procurement, tendering, and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior professionals
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard software
