Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Senior Auction Assistant to join our busy and successful Property Auctions team in Lowton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the property sector. Previous property experience is not required, and we welcome applications from candidates with strong administrative and customer service experience from any industry.

Once fully trained, we offer a hybrid working pattern, although successful candidates will be required to work full-time in the office during the initial training period.

The Role

As a Senior Auction Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our auction department. You will be responsible for handling enquiries, managing inboxes, supporting clients through the auction process, coordinating property viewings, liaising with buyers, sellers and solicitors, and providing essential administrative support to the wider auction team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering and handling incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Managing busy shared mailboxes and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Assisting buyers and sellers throughout the auction process
  • Helping clients register to bid and navigate our auction website
  • Coordinating property viewing schedules
  • Logging, tracking and managing property keys
  • Arranging auction board installations and coordinating contractors
  • Liaising with solicitors, buyers, sellers and viewing agents
  • Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • Providing administrative support to surveyors, property managers and the wider auction team

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Can manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Is confident handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office packages
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Has previous administration, customer service or office-based experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Ideally drives and has access to transport due to the office location
