Senior Building Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy in their search for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to take on a varied workload with a strong emphasis on professional Building Surveying services. You'll be working with an established portfolio of Commercial and Industrial clients, delivering high-quality advice and building long-term relationships across a diverse range of properties.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering professional Building Surveying instructions while supporting the continued growth of the team. You'll manage projects independently, mentor junior colleagues where appropriate, and provide trusted advice to a broad client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)
• Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys
• Schedules of condition
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Defect diagnosis and building pathology
• Contract administration on refurbishment and maintenance schemes
• Party Wall matters (desirable)
• Providing professional advice to Commercial and Industrial sector clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business

We're looking for a confident and commercially minded Building Surveyor who enjoys delivering professional consultancy services and thrives in a client-facing environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership with relevant experience)
• Proven experience delivering professional Building Surveying services
• Strong knowledge of Commercial and Industrial properties
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• The ability to manage your own workload and build lasting client relationships
• A full UK driving licence
