The Role
As a Senior Buyer (Procurement), you will be responsible for managing procurement activities across a diverse portfolio of projects within sectors such as nuclear, defence, and power. Your day-to-day will include engaging with stakeholders, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising on procurement strategies to ensure project delivery aligns with organisational objectives.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven experience advising on procurement practices and contract management, including UK model forms such as NEC4 PSC
- Extensive knowledge of UK procurement and finance legislation
- Expert understanding of UK standard forms of contract and negotiation skills
- An MCIPS qualification or working towards it
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with COINS (desirable)
