Senior Care Assistant

Remedicare are actively recruiting Senior Care Assistants to join a welcoming, independently owned elderly care home in Nutbourne, between Chichester and Havant.

• Full and part time roles available
• 36 or 48 hours per week, 7am-7pm shifts
• £14.10-15.10 per hour
• Paid breaks!

New Senior Carers joining the team will benefit from full training and inductions. They will be supported by experienced Senior Care Assistants and Nurses, and ongoing support and guidance is always available from Managers and senior staff members. The home benefits from free parking on site, and is easily commutable from Havant, Chichester and surrounding areas.

Senior Care Assistant main duties:

• Work within a team of other Senior Care Assistants and Carers to provide a high quality of person-centred care
• Assist residents with food and drink throughout the day

• Promoting residents' independence and wellbeing, supporting them with activities and always being available with a laugh and a smile
• Support with care planning, medication and shift leading

Senior Care Assistant requirements:

• Prior experience as a Senior Carer or Senior Support Worker within a care home or homecare environment
• NVQ Level 3 within Health and Social Care
• Medication trained preferred
