Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Location: Farringdon, London
Working Pattern: Office-based during probation, with potential for 3-4 days per week in the office following successful completion of probation.

Folio Consult is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients for an experienced Senior Case Handler to join an ambitious, industry-disrupting specialist finance brokerage.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that's changing the way commercial and specialist property finance is delivered. Working with experienced brokers and a diverse client base of property investors, developers and business owners, you'll play a key role in ensuring complex finance cases are progressed efficiently from enquiry through to completion.
The Role
As a Senior Case Handler, you'll manage a pipeline of specialist finance applications, including:
- Development Finance
- Bridging Loans
- Commercial Mortgages
- HMO & Portfolio Finance
You'll work closely with brokers, lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients to keep transactions progressing while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and managing multiple high-value transactions simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage specialist finance applications from submission through to completion.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients to ensure deals progress smoothly.
- Review supporting documentation and package cases to lender requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues before they delay completions.
- Keep brokers and clients informed throughout the transaction.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records within the CRM system.
- Build strong relationships with lender contacts and professional introducers.
- Support junior team members and contribute to improving operational processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who has experience working within a mortgage brokerage, specialist finance brokerage or lender.
You'll ideally have experience dealing with one or more of:
- Bridging Finance
- Commercial Mortgages
- Development Finance
- Buy-to-Let or Portfolio Lending
- Specialist Property Finance
You'll also have:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple live cases in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems.
CeMAP is advantageous but not essential.
