Our client develop and manufacture a range of inorganic chemical products, they are currently recruiting for a Senior Chemical Process Engineer
This is a hands on leading role where the successful candidate will have responsibility for both chemical processing and production output engineering activities
Additional duties for this position will include :
- Leading a small team of engineers (process, maintenance and production)
- Understanding current processes / equipment , improving and developing new or improved processes
- Solving plant problems, focusing on root cause analyses
- Supervising and optimizing plant maintenance strategies
- Understanding KPI / process data information derived , including the development of further statistical tools
- Attending ad-hoc out of hours call outs to rectify technical problems
Candidates must live 30 minutes from Staffordshire in order to attend the ad-hoc call outs at short notice
