The Opportunity
An experienced Civil Engineer is sought to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, taking ownership of civil engineering projects and helping strengthen their civil capability across the South East.
The role offers the opportunity to work across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and technical approvals.
The Role
You will take a lead role in the design and delivery of drainage and infrastructure schemes, working closely with clients, local authorities, water companies and wider multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the design and delivery of drainage and infrastructure schemes
Preparing drainage strategies and Flood Risk Assessments
Working on S104, S38 and S278 agreements
Producing detailed civil engineering design packages
Coordinating with clients, authorities and water companies
Managing programmes and technical deliverables
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
Contributing to the continued growth of the civil engineering team
What We're Looking For
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Consultancy experience in drainage and infrastructure design
Experience working on development-led projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage
Good understanding of UK drainage and infrastructure standards
Strong project and client management skills
Working towards or already achieving Chartered Engineer status
