Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Falmer. This role offers a hybrid working model, with ad-hoc visits to the Falmer office. You will be contributing to wastewater infrastructure projects, making a significant impact within the industry.

• Leading the design and implementation of civil engineering projects focused on wastewater infrastructure
• Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments
• Preparation and review of project documentation including reports, specifications, and contractual documents
• Ensuring project compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Visiting project sites as required to oversee progress and ensure quality standards

• Experience in civil engineering within the water sector
• Strong understanding of wastewater infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in using civil engineering design software
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
