Senior Commercial Manager in Central London

Conrad Consulting is working with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced Executive Commercial Manager to support the delivery of projects within the rapidly developing long-duration energy storage (LDES) sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused professional looking to develop their career within the energy transition and renewable infrastructure markets.

The successful candidate will bring relevant commercial management experience and an understanding of the commercial challenges associated with major energy storage projects.

• Support commercial management activities across long-duration energy storage projects.
• Assist with commercial reporting, cost monitoring and financial control.
• Support procurement and contract management activities.
• Monitor commercial risks, opportunities and contractual obligations.
• Work alongside project teams to ensure effective commercial delivery.
• Assist with contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project reporting.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders.

• Previous experience in a commercial management or quantity surveying position.
• Experience within the energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
• Exposure to long-duration energy storage projects would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Salary of £60,000–£70,000.
• London-based position.
