Senior Commercial Manager

Our client, operating within the Airport, Energy, Defence & Security, Nuclear, and Rail sectors, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager for Target Outturn Cost (TOC) Assurance in the Heavy Civils discipline, based in London with occasional travel to Orwell Logistics Park.

This role is specifically related to the Nuclear industry, notably Sizewell C.

• Overseeing cost management and assurance for major infrastructure and heavy civil engineering projects
• Providing expert quantity surveying and commercial management services
• Ensuring accurate procurement processes and effective estimating techniques
• Conducting thorough TOC assurance along with cost and risk analysis
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
• Reviewing and managing contractual obligations and financial control processes
• Providing strategic commercial advice and interfacing with clients and stakeholders
• Drawing on extensive industry experience to mentor junior team members

• Significant experience delivering major infrastructure and heavy civil engineering projects
• Strong background in quantity surveying, commercial management, procurement, and estimating
• Understanding of Target Outturn Cost (TOC) assurance and cost/risk analysis
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and ensure financial control
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Relevant professional qualification or degree
