Senior Construction Manager – Client Side

West London | Major Infrastructure Programme

We're working with a leading client to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of a major civil infrastructure and enabling works programme in West London.

This is a client-side opportunity where you'll be responsible for leading site delivery, managing Tier 1 contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest technical standards.

The Role

• Lead the delivery of major civil engineering and enabling works
• Oversee earthworks, drainage, utilities, piling, highways and external works
• Manage principal contractors and subcontractors across multiple work fronts
• Monitor programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance
• Coordinate with utilities, local authorities and key project stakeholders
• Identify risks, drive solutions and provide clear reporting to senior management

About You

• 10+ years' experience delivering complex civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong background managing Tier 1 contractors on large-scale schemes
• Excellent knowledge of CDM 2015 and construction best practice
• Experience reviewing programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge contractors and influence project outcomes
• Black CSCS, SMSTS and relevant management qualifications
