If you’re motivated by complex constraints, stakeholder scrutiny and engineering that genuinely matters—read on and apply now.
The Opportunity
Join a well-established engineering delivery organisation with a strong safety-first culture, high standards of governance and a track record of delivering critical infrastructure programmes. You’ll be working in an environment that values professionalism, collaboration and doing things properly—where quality management, design assurance and continuous improvement are part of day-to-day engineering, not an afterthought.
The Role
Working as a Senior CS&A Engineer, you will undertake and contribute to a feasibility study to develop options for a roof refurbishment scope, aligned to an Outline Requirements Specification. You’ll bring strong technical capability across civil/structural/architectural considerations and confidently co-ordinate across disciplines to support delivery of a complex work package.
Typical responsibilities will include:
• Contributing to option development and feasibility outputs for building envelope refurbishment
• Working autonomously to progress engineering activities, while proactively seeking input to strengthen decisions
• Co-ordinating with cross-discipline stakeholders to ensure interfaces and constraints are managed
• Supporting technical reviews and assurance activities (e.g., design reviews, HAZOP-style forums where applicable)
• Promoting high standards of delivery, quality and professional behaviours across the engineering team
You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Extensive engineering design experience across CS&A scopes, with confidence operating across a broad technical spectrum
• Demonstrable capability supervising/mentoring engineers and supporting effective team delivery
• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety legislation, and how to apply them appropriately
• Comfortable participating in, and preparing information for, technical reviews and hazard/risk-focused forums
• Bachelor’s (Honours) Engineering/Scientific degree (or extensive equivalent experience); as a minimum, HNC/HND considered
• Ability to meet site access and security requirements (BPSS as a minimum; SC desirable/ability to achieve; ability to achieve relevant pass requirements as required)
• Chartered status (or working towards) and evidence of continual professional development highly desirable
