Description
The successful Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems to support analytics needs.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and usability.
- Optimise data workflows and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
- Ensure data quality and implement best practices for data governance.
- Work with various data sources and integrate them into a centralised platform.
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring to junior team members.
- Document processes and maintain up-to-date records of data architecture.
- Support the organisation in leveraging data for strategic decisions.
Profile
The successful Senior Data Engineer will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong technical skills in data engineering tools and frameworks.
- Experience working with large-scale data systems and pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job Offer
Located by Trafford Park we are easily commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington and other surrounding areas.
- Salary ranging from £58000 - £63,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position based in Manchester.
- Hybrid working, circa 2 days in the office.
