Senior Design Engineer – Temporary Works

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Design Engineer to join their growing design team in Watford.

This is a hands-on technical role, working on a range of temporary works designs across major construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll take ownership of designs from concept through to delivery, working closely with project teams, site teams and other stakeholders.

The Role:

• Design and deliver temporary works solutions across a range of projects
• Produce and review structural calculations, drawings and technical documentation
• Take ownership of designs and manage individual workstreams
• Work closely with construction and project teams to develop practical, buildable solutions

Requirements for a Senior Design Engineer:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in structural/temporary works design
• Strong hands-on temporary works design experience is essential
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and buildability
