As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead ecological surveys, manage projects from proposal through to completion, prepare technical reports and Ecological Impact Assessments, advise clients on planning and environmental matters, support Biodiversity Net Gain delivery and mentor junior team members. The successful Senior Ecologist will be based in Birmingham, working on a varied portfolio of projects across the UK.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Senior Ecologist within an environmental consultancy
• Strong knowledge of UK protected species, habitats and environmental legislation
• Experience managing ecological projects and producing technical reports
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Birmingham office
• Membership of CIEEM is desirable
