Join a friendly and passionate ecological consultancy working across the South East, with projects covering protected species, habitat creation, restoration and Biodiversity Net Gain. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Kent.

As a Senior Ecologist, you will:

• Lead protected species and habitat surveys
• Undertake ecological assessments and BNG work
• Prepare technical reports and plans using QGIS/ArcGIS
• Manage projects and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare and oversee protected species licence applications
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ecologists
• Support habitat creation, restoration and mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• 5+ years' ecological consultancy experience
• Relevant ecology/environmental degree
• CIEEM membership
• Protected species licence(s), with progress towards others
• Strong UKHab, BNG, QGIS/ArcGIS and report-writing experience
• Project management and client liaison experience
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Kent office
