This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:
This role is for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Technical leadership on control and instrumentation systems,
- Supporting asset lifecycle management,
- Developing modifications and upgrades,
- Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements.
We’re looking for people who can show:
- Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- C&I engineering within a highly regulated industry.
- Industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and functional safety.
- Producing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications and design documentation.
- Understanding of safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in defence, energy, infrastructure or process industries.
- Salary circa £55 000 per annum
